Inspired by Wildlife, Guided by Experience
The environmental initiatives you’ll find here are born from the firsthand experience gained while working in Wildlife Rescue. The challenges facing the animals I’ve cared for—such as habitat destruction, pollution, and ecosystem imbalance—have directly shaped these programs.
While it’s deeply meaningful to care for each individual animal, the work doesn’t stop there. After treatment, it’s critical to ensure that we are returning these animals to environments where they can thrive—not, for example, releasing waterfowl who were just treated for lead poisoning back into ponds where they’ll face the same threat again.
Each of our initiatives addresses the large-scale problems we see animals facing every day. These programs aim to create lasting change by tackling the root causes of the challenges impacting wildlife.
As we continue to learn from the wildlife we care for, we’ll adapt and expand our efforts, adding new initiatives to better protect and restore the natural world. Stay tuned for updates as we evolve alongside the needs of our environment.
